I'm a mechanical and controls engineer working on a novel timing detector for the CMS experiment at CERN, focused on detector integration, thermal studies of the detector's evaporative CO2 cooling system, and the design of the detector safety system.

  • Lead responsible for detector integration and responsible for thermal studies of the detector's evaporative CO2-based cooling system.
  • Project representative in the CMS Detector Safety System working group; developed and maintain a dedicated PLC-based SCADA system.
  • Carry out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of detector components in accordance with EN 13445 and EN 13480, and supervise students on structural/thermal simulations in ANSYS.
